Composition:

This shampoo contains a blend of cleansing and conditioning agents, including glycerin, hydroxyethanol, sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate, sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate, coco-glucoside, glyceryl oleate, cocamide diethanolamide, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, isopropyl jojobate, jojoba, piroctone olamine, hydrogenated polyisobutene, panthenol, hydrolyzed wheat protein, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, and rosemary extract from Rosmarinus officinalis.

Key active ingredients and their actions:

• Climbazole:
  An antifungal agent targeting the yeast-like fungus Malassezia, commonly linked to dandruff. It disrupts the production of ergosterol in the fungal cell membrane, leading to cell death and a reduction in fungal growth.
• Coal Tar:
  A keratolytic agent that slows down the rapid turnover of scalp skin cells. This action helps alleviate itching, scaling, and inflammation, making it effective for conditions such as psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis.
• Salicylic Acid:
  A beta-hydroxy acid with keratolytic and comedolytic properties, salicylic acid exfoliates the scalp by softening and dissolving the outer layer of dead skin cells. This process aids in clearing flakes, reducing oiliness, and preventing blocked hair follicles.

DANDRIX SHAMPOO combines the benefits of its key ingredients to foster a healthier scalp environment. Climbazole addresses the fungal causes of dandruff, coal tar reduces excessive cell turnover and inflammation, and salicylic acid exfoliates the scalp to prevent buildup. Together, they help alleviate scalp dryness, reduce flaking, and maintain overall scalp health.

Indications and Usage:

This shampoo is specifically formulated to manage and reduce dandruff. It effectively targets fungal causes, relieves dryness and irritation, and cleanses while conditioning the hair. Regular use is recommended to maintain a healthy scalp and hair.

Contraindications:

Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in the formulation.

Dosage and Administration:
